Business Description
The Long Island City Community Boathouse is an all volunteer, non-profit group dedicated to kayaking and education on the East River.
We paddle the waterways in a fleet which consists of mostly bright yellow sit on top kayaks. Often we resemble a fruit bowl filled with bananas as we "raft" together to enjoy a swift-running current up the river or downstream.
We want to take you out on the water with us.
LICCB seeks to accommodate persons at different skill levels and physical capabilities. You are welcome to apply to be included in any of our trips, which range from beginner level, short and easy, to more advanced outings with greater distance and challenge.
